CARP Board of Directors Welcomes New Member: Hanne Jacobs

The Board of Directors of the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology, Inc., welcomes Hanne Jacobs, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago, as a new Director.

Professor Jacobs her PhD from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2009 with a dissertation on Husserl and Leibniz. While in Leuven, she was a member of the research center of the Husserl-Archives. She is the editor of a series of Husserl’s lecture courses on the history of philosophy published in the Husserliana Materialien series: Einleitung in die Philosophie 1919/20 (HuMa IX). She also recently co-edited a book for the Phaenomenologica series titled: Philosophy, Phenomenology, Sciences: Essays in Commemoration of Edmund Husserl.

Professor Jacobs is the book-review editor of Husserl Studies, a section editor in continental philosophy for <a href="http://www.ergophiljournal seroquel” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>Ergo, and an editorial board member of Tijdschrift voor Filosofie.
